Privacy Policy

OrbiTap is a simple arcade game, developed and published by Arif Can Şahin. We built it so it needs almost nothing from you. This page explains, in plain words, what happens with data when you play.
No account, no personal data
OrbiTap has no sign up and no login. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, photos, contacts, or location. We do not collect any information that identifies you personally.
Anonymous usage analytics
To understand how the game is played and where it can be improved, we collect anonymous usage data through Amplitude, an analytics service. This data covers:
- Device type and operating system version
- Country, derived at a rough level
- In game events such as starting a run, dying, and reaching a new level
These records are not linked to your identity. We cannot tell who you are from them, and we do not try to. They are used only as totals and trends, for example how many players stop at a given level.
No ads, no data selling
We do not run advertising in OrbiTap and we do not use the data above to target ads anywhere. We do not sell, rent, or trade any data with third parties. Amplitude processes the anonymous events on our behalf and for no other purpose.
Data on your device
Your progress and settings, such as your high score, are stored on your device by the app. They stay there. Deleting the app removes them.
Children
OrbiTap is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, we also collect none from children.
Your choices
You can stop all data collection at any time by deleting the app. On iOS you can also limit analytics and tracking from your system privacy settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will also be noted in the app update description.
